When I founded Huricane Boat Lifts in 1998, I was guided by
simple principle; to design and build the highest quality, most
attractive lifts at the most affordable prices. I saw many well
designed and aesthetically pleasing boats in beautiful inlets
and coves, mounted on boat lifts that could only be described
as eye-sores. I wanted Hurricane Boat Lifts to be as pleasing
to the eye as the boats they protect, and I am pleased by the
reaction of so many customers who tell us that our lifts are
not just reliable, sturdy and long lasting, but they also "just
look better" than other boat lifts.
I had learned how to design for durability and appearance while engineering
products for the aviation industry. I brought that experience
to bear in designing Hurricane Boat Lifts, and I also learned
how to use the highest grade aluminum for marine applications.
