Meet the Team Behind Hurricane Boat Lifts

Boat lift with vessel, dockside installation under sunny skies.

At Hurricane Boat Lifts, we take pride in delivering high-quality boat lift solutions with exceptional customer service. Our team is made up of dedicated professionals who bring passion, expertise, and a commitment to excellence every day. From operations to sales, each member plays a key role in ensuring that our customers receive the best products and support in the marine industry.

A New Face at the Helm

Dan Michels – President
Dan joined Hurricane Boat Lifts in February 2022 as our VP of Operations, and as of January 2025, he proudly serves as the President and CEO of the Marine Division. His favorite part of the job? “Seeing things come together.” Dan’s leadership and vision continue to drive the company forward, ensuring we provide the highest quality boat lifts on the market. When he’s not leading the team, you can find him on the tennis court, cycling a local bike path, or even DJing in his signature sequin jacket.

Dedicated to Excellence in Operations

Zack Tiano – Operations Manager
Zack is passionate about efficiency and innovation. His favorite Hurricane Boat Lift product is the Hurricane Platform Lift, which he describes as the “ultimate lift of lifts” thanks to its exceptional design and functionality. With an auto-leveling deck that locks in place for unrivaled stability, it’s easy to see why he’s a fan. Outside of work, Zack enjoys quality time with his wife and baby, making memories that last a lifetime.

Driving Growth Through Sales & Marketing

Stephanie Lynn – Director of Sales & Marketing
Stephanie is the force behind our sales and marketing efforts. She thrives on attending boat shows and supporting local marine events, where she connects with industry leaders and customers. “You never know where a deal can be made or who you’re dealing with!” she says. When she’s not networking, she enjoys working out, drinking wine, and spending time with her two Labradors.

Mastering the Numbers

Stacy Mastrov – Controller
Stacy ensures that our budgets are organized and our financial goals are met and exceeded. She thrives on the challenge and diversity of her role, helping the company stay on track for continued success. Outside of work, Stacy enjoys sourcing the finest pickles, relaxing in her swim spa, and spending time with her cats.

Our team wouldn’t be complete without the hardworking professionals in production, engineering, and sales. Each individual brings expertise, dedication, and a passion for marine innovation:

  • Jeff Chisholm – Production Manager
  • Jose Cepeda Jr. – Shop Supervisor
  • Tyler Urban – Engineer
  • John Norman – Draftsman
